Returns, warranty, and privacy information for RyLo Systems customers.

Returns - 120 Day Money Back Guarantee

Rylo Systems wants you to be pleased with your purchase. If you decide for any reason that our product isn't working for you, please contact us within 120 days of purchase to arrange a return. Once we receive the returned product, please allow us 7 days to process the refund. A refund will be processed to the original payment method for the purchase price minus the shipping costs. Note that defective products are covered under the warranty policy and not subject to the return policy.

5 Year Limited Warranty

Rylo Systems warrants all products for 5 years after the purchase date. The warranty provides repair or replacement of the defective product due to product manufacturing or workmanship defects when installed properly according to the instructions and procedures. This warranty does not cover defects experienced due to misuse or modifications to products.

If a defect is discovered in a product, please contact us within 5 years of the original purchase date. Rylo Systems will either repair or replace the defective product. Rylo Systems reserves the right to request additional information about product installation and usage in order to validate the warranty claim. No further warranty beyond repair or replacement of defective product is provided by this clause.

Privacy and Usage Policy

Who can use this site:

  1. Websites run by Rylo Systems are intended only for legal adults over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share information about persons under 18 years of age.

Changes to this policy:

  1. Updates or modifications of policies are posted to the site and can be made at any time. Interested users should periodically monitor this webpage for updates.

Information we collect:

  1. Data you provide to us including name, address, phone number, emails and anything else you enter in the website or provide via email or phone to us.
  2. Payment information is collected by Stripe or Paypal and never visible or stored in Rylo System's servers.

Categories of Collected Information:

  1. Identifiers: name, address, phone number, email addresses, IP address
  2. Personal Records: Name
  3. Commercial Information: Product order history, products viewed
  4. Internet or other electronic network activity: Browsing and search history on our site, site interactions, advertisement interactions
  5. Inferences: Based on the above information, we may draw inferences on your preferences to recommend products to you

How we collect the information:

  1. When you enter the information into our website
  2. When you browse our site, information about your browser and IP address (anonymized by removing the bottom byte) is collected
  3. Web analytics cookies from our self-hosted Matomo server are offered to your browser which you may optionally provide to us when visiting the site
  4. The specific web pages you visit
  5. Conversational information offered when you contact us via email or phone

What we do with this information:

  1. Provide you with services requested like purchasing a product or providing support
  2. Learn about how customers use our products so we can improve them or provide support if something breaks
  3. We never sell or share your information for any reason, with the exception of payment information you provide to our payment processors (Stripe and Paypal)
  4. We specifically self-host our web analytics and anonymize the data (bottom internet address byte) so your data does not go out any further than needed

Data Retention:

  1. Data is retained indefinitely unless a request is made for deletion

Security of information:

  1. All data transferred to our website is transferred from you to us and back with TLS security
  2. All data is stored in a password protected co-location in the United States
  3. Passwords are stored as one-way hash which can only be verified against, not recovered.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

  1. CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information the business has collected about the consumer, including the categories of personal information, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information, the categories of third parties to whom the business discloses personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information the business has collected about the consumer.
  2. CCPA gives you the right to delete personal information that the business has collected from the consumer, subject to certain exceptions.
  3. CCPA gives you the right to correct inaccurate personal information that a business maintains about a consumer.
  4. CCPA gives you the right not to be retaliated against for exercising privacy rights conferred by the CCPA, including when a consumer is an applicant to an educational program, a job applicant, a student, an employee, or an independent contractor.

  6. When you submit a request to know, request to delete, request to correct, we will scrub the website and analytics for any traces of personal information you have.
    1. If you've requested a copy, we will provide it to you
    2. If you have requested correction we will provide the information we have and you can tell us what to correct and we will make appropriate changes
    3. If you've requested deletion we will remove all data found about you
    4. For all requests, please allow 30 days for us to process the request.
  7. We do not support the 'opt-out preference signal' on our website
  8. If you are an authorized agent, you can use the same contact method to make a request under the CCPA on the consumer's behalf.
